Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions at Electronica 2018
13 - 11/16/2018
Electronica, the world's leading trade fair for electronics, first and foremost shows which components, systems and applications make new developments such as Smart Homes and Connected Cars possible. International visitors have the opportunity to see the entire world of electronics. Spread over 17 halls, visitors can experience, test and try out the products of electronica exhibitors in their respective applications. In addition, an extensive supporting program with 16 topic-oriented forums offers the opportunity to exchange ideas with experts on current topics.
Our electronics competence in automotive components and technology is our distinguishing strength from competition: We develop and produce semiconductors for 50 years. We even invented special MEMS production process called the “Bosch process”, and equipped a large share of the MEMS producing industry with it. For almost 25 years, Bosch is also active in consumer electronics business and has become the world’s No. 1 supplier in MEMS sensors. With this broad electronics know-how, Bosch has expanded into the connected devices and solution area. We develop and produce smart sensors and IoT devices. We even provide these services to our customers.
Today, we are the key enabler for IoT as well as for automated, electrified and connected driving. Bosch clearly invests into the semiconductors industry. Our manufacturing sites are spread all over the world with the headquarters in Germany. Here, we have will invest 0.5 bn EUR to expand the existing 150 and 200mm production facilities. Further 1 bn EUR will be invested in the new 300mm wafer fab in Dresden.
From November 13-16, Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions GmbH will be presenting its diverse possibilities as your project partner at booth 522 in hall C3. The , our All-in-One Prototyping Kit, is the perfect device to start with different solutions for the Internet of Things quickly and easily. At the booth the focus will be on the corresponding LEM extension, as well as our self-developed, simple programming language Mita. You can experience the industry 4.0 solution, the CISS, especially developed for harsh industrial environments, in combination with the Rexroth IoT Gateway (will follow the link). Visit us in hall C3, booth 522 and learn more about our variety in the project business and our sensors.
